The All Nations Inn.

The All Nations Inn, in Madeley, Telford, has a rich history dating back to 1789 where brewing first commenced there, and over 230 years later, it is still a brewhouse and a very popular pub in the area.

Along with its centuries old history, the pub has only been owned by three families in its time, and is now owned by Linda Birtwhislte.

Linda, 71, who has lived in the area since the 1970s, purchased the pub with her husband, Jim Birtwhistle, who sadly passed away almost exactly one year ago.

The couple took over the business in 2022, and opened for business in December that year and have been here ever since.

Linda said when they took over they knew what they liked about the place having been here before, and pretty much kept it the way it was, adding minor things to put their own touches on the place.

She said: "We have fantastic staff here, and a cracking manager in Rose, and they all helped me get through the time with my husband, and the customers were lovely about it too.

"They have all been very supportive, and the customers help out in many ways, I can't praise them enough.
