The man, known only as "Mr E", scooped the lottery prize on October 6 after matching five main numbers and one lucky star on a lucky dip ticket.

The lotto winner bought his ticket through the National Lottery app, Lottery spokesman Andy Carter said.

He added that while the lucky winner did not want to be identified, Mr E told them that he is planning to buy a static caravan to enjoy in his retirement with his winnings.
