Double delight at Telford teddy bears' picnic for twins
If you go down to the woods today . . . you'll be seeing double.

Twenty five sets of twins from across Telford and Shropshire came together at St John's Church in Muxton to celebrate National Twins, Triplets and More Week.
They took part in a teddy bears' picnic to celebrate the special week.

Twins, from just a few weeks old through to junior school age, took their teddies in hand for double fun in the sun and joined one another for an afternoon of fun, crafts, outdoor games, Tiddly Tots Yoga and family picnics.
The event was organised to celebrate the annual awareness week by the Telford Twins or More Group, a voluntary club run by mothers of twins, for families of multiples, which has now run in Telford for over 12 years.
Louise Bradley, who runs the club said: "We wanted to celebrate everything that is special about being twin families and what better way than a teddy bears' picnic and afternoon of fun for the little ones, which in turn we hope will raise a few more pennies for the club for future activities and events and allow us to continue supporting families with multiples."
The Tamba (Twins and Multiple Births Association) affiliated club, is a supportive club for parents and carers of twins, triplets and more in Telford and the surrounding areas.
Under threat last year of closure the club's organisers rallied around to gain extra parent support which allowed them to remain open and continue their support for families of multiples in the area.
Money raised at last year's Christmas party was used to promote the group and membership grew dramatically after it embarked on a local PR campaign with local GP's, maternity hospitals and health visitors.
The group meets each Tuesday morning from 10am through to 11.30am at the Hadley Learning Community, Hadley, Telford. They offer support, information and advice to parents and prospective parents of multiples plus weekly play sessions and events for babies through to pre-school aged children.
