Letter: Let's have facts on relief road

Letter: When does information become propaganda? Shropshire Council, in its Your Shropshire magazine, includes an article on the Shrewsbury NW Relief Road which is completely one-sided.

It only gives a list of so-called "benefits", nearly all of which could be achieved without the road. It completely omits any mention of the cost (£100m) and the environmental damage. The article is nothing short of pro-road propaganda rather than the balanced information that should be provided.

With public consultations due in April, I hope that both sides of the argument will be available to Shrewsbury residents, and not the biased travesty that the Your Shropshire contains.
