Man critically ill after fatal road accident

A man and a woman from the van were also injured. Humber Lane, near the Donnington military depot, was closed in both directions after the collision. The motorcyclist, in his 40s and from Staffordshire, died after a collision with a car on the Stourbridge Road at Gateacre Hill on the outskirts of Bridgnorth. Police spokesman Richard Ewels said officers were still keen to hear from witnesses.
The blue and white Suzuki motorcycle collided with a red Mitsubishi Spacewagon.
In a separate incident a 67-year-old cyclist was described as "critical but stable" after a crash with a car in Bridgnorth. The man suffered serious head injuries and is still in hospital following the accident at the junction of Underhill Street and New Road.
A man who died after a crash near Whitchurch has been named as 26-year-old Matthew James Gregory, from the Wrexham area.
Mr Gregory, 26, died after the crash which happened just before 3pm on Sunday on the A539 between Hanmer and Penley.
