Mayday Parade to bring anniversary tour to Birmingham

Mayday Parade are set to come to Birmingham to celebrate the ten year anniversary of hit album A Lesson in Romantics.

Formed in Florida, Mayday Parade released debut studio album A Lesson in Romantics in 2007 that the band supported on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour.

The album featured such hits as When I Get Home You're So Dead, Jamie All Over and Miserable at Best.

It is the band's most commercially successful albums, selling over 200,000 copies and being named in Rock Sound's 2014 list The 51 Most Essential Pop Punk Albums of All Time.

The following year the band made their debut UK appearance on Give it a Name festival alongside the likes of All Time Low, Anti Flag, Finch, Billy Talent, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Paramore.

The band have since released four full-length albums and the Valdosta E.P.

Mayday Parade will play Birmingham's O2 Academy on September 23.
