stiperstonesHikers are being invited to join a seven-mile walk this weekend to take in the beauties of the Stiperstones ridge between Church Stretton and Montgomery.

The walk on Saturday, along the length of the ridge, will be led by Tom Wall from Natural England and he will be accompanied by Catherine Lanles of the Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership and John Hughes from Shropshire Wildlife Trust.

Walkers are asked to meet at 10am at the Bog car park and a minibus will then take people to the start of the walk on Black Rhadley and also drop them back off at the end of the walk.

Stephanie Hayes of Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership said booking was essential and anyone who wanted to take part should call Caroline Dahn on 0300 0600583.
