Chirk Cricket Club invites juniors and women to free 'bring a buddy' taster evening
Anyone interested in taking up cricket is encouraged to give the sport a try when Chirk Cricket Club hosts a free taster evening for juniors and women
Chirk Cricket Club is inviting people of all ages and abilities to discover the game at a free taster and "bring a buddy" evening later this month.

The event will take place on Friday, July 31, from 6pm to 7pm, with separate sessions for the club's junior and women's sections.
Organisers say the evening is open to complete beginners as well as those returning to cricket after a break, with no previous experience or equipment required.
The junior session is aimed at children aged 7 to 13, while the women's session is open to anyone aged 13 and over.
Club members will be on hand to introduce newcomers to the basics of the game in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
As well as the chance to have a go at cricket, junior participants will receive a free hot dog and refreshments after the session, while those attending the women's event can enjoy complimentary prosecco and nibbles.
The evening is free to attend, and participants are encouraged to bring a friend along.
Anyone wanting more information can contact Liam Walker on 07903 730017 or send a message via the club's social media channels.
