Broseley pub reopens after refurbishment and becomes free house
The Pipe Makers Arms, formerly The Albion, has unveiled a refreshed interior and a new future as an independent pub in the heart of Broseley
The Pipe Makers Arms in Broseley has reopened its doors following an extensive refurbishment, marking a fresh start for the much-loved pub as it becomes an independent free house.

Formerly known as The Albion, the pub has been given a new look while keeping a connection to the town's heritage and its long history of pipe-making.
The refreshed interior blends traditional pub character with contemporary touches, creating a welcoming space for locals and visitors to catch up with friends, enjoy a drink or simply relax.

The move to become a free house also gives the pub greater freedom over its drinks selection, with plans to offer a range of beers, ales, spirits and other drinks from independent producers and local suppliers.
There will also be sharing boards featuring regional produce, including meats from Shropshire Salumi.
The team behind the pub hopes it will become a popular meeting place for the community and play its part in Broseley's independent high street, complementing the town's existing pubs, cafes and businesses.

A spokesman said: "We want The Pipe Makers Arms to feel like the pub everyone remembers loving, but with a new lease of life.
"Becoming a free house gives us the freedom to be a little more adventurous with what we offer, champion independent producers and bring some real variety to Broseley.
"Above all, we want it to be a place where people feel at home, whether they're popping in for a quick pint, meeting friends for coffee or spending a leisurely afternoon with us."
