'Essential' utility work to cause disruption for visitors to beloved Shropshire National Trust property

A National Trust property in Shropshire will close early for a day this week due to utility works.
Attingham Park will close at 3pm on Wednesday instead of its usual 5pm closing time, it has been announced.
Those who run the park have thanked the public in advance for their cooperation.
A spokesperson for the National Trust at Attingham said online: “Please be aware that, due to essential network work taking place by National Grid, Attingham will be closing early tomorrow, Wednesday 4 November 2026, at 3pm.
“Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.”
