Week of closures planned for south Shropshire A-road - with 21-mile diversion in place
A 21-mile diversion will be in place while the road is closed
Drivers will face a 21-mile diversion as a south Shropshire A-road undergoes resurfacing later this month.
A section of the A488 in Clun will be closed between Monday, November 16, and Friday, November 20 while resurfacing works are carried out.
The work will be being carried out daily between 9.30am and 4pm, with the road closed at Clun Bridge - between Buffalo Lane and Vicarage Road.

A full road closure will be in place during working hours, with drivers diverted along a signed 21-mile route through Knighton, Bucknell, Hopton Heath and Clunton.
Access will be maintained for residents living within the closure and businesses operating in the affected area, where it is safe to do so.
Pedestrians, cyclists who dismount and horse riders will also be able to pass through the area. Emergency vehicles attending blue-light incidents will be permitted access.
All other traffic will need to follow the signed diversion, although alternative routes may be available depending on vehicle type.
Motorists are being asked not to park their vehicles on the road while the work is taking place to help contractors complete the resurfacing efficiently and minimise disruption.
The works will be carried out by Kier Infrastructure on behalf of Shropshire Council.
More information about the closure and diversion is available on the One Network roadworks website.
