Revealed: Aston Villa's stance on Emi Martinez as Juventus eye move

The Aston Villa goalkeeper heads into the tournament on the back of yet another trophy win, lifting the Europa League last month. One of the best in his position, Martinez was pivotal when Argentina lifted the World Cup in Qatar four years ago. He kept 11 clean sheets in 18 CONMEBOL qualifiers and conceded the fewest shots on target (38). Not the cheapest option, but a safe and reliable choice between the sticks.
