How Ryan Mason sold West Brom project to Aston Villa loanee Samuel Iling-Junior
Samuel Iling-Junior was eager to get started at West Brom from the first moment he spoke to manager Ryan Mason.

After arriving on his third loan spell away from local rivals Aston Villa, Iling-Junior marked his first Albion start by getting on the score sheet in their 1-1 draw against Leicester City in late September.
He has since featured four times for the Baggies and revealed he was immediately sold when Mason painted out his vision for how he would fit into the team.
"I think it was the manager's approach to getting my abilities and putting that into a team," he explained.
"So whether it's my pace, my dribbling, creating goals, scoring opportunities, creating, just being a part of something that the team's pushing for.
"And I think when you see that as a player, you want to be a big part of it.
"That was something for me that was important."

Iling-Junior, who started his career with Italian giants Juventus, has predominantly played from the left so far in his career.
Although the 22-year-old is eager to showcase his talent at the Hawthorns, he is also aware of the role that he needs to play for the team.
That in itself is something which he is happy to adapt his game to, and Iling-Junior is looking forward to bringing his qualities to the game from the right.
"Being a player I challenge myself in each position to perform," he continued.
"So what would the right-winger do for West Brom? It's not what would the right-winger do.

"Every role has a different approach to it. So it's what the manager wants from me and how I can bring my roles into the game.
"It's just about getting on as much as I can and to keep playing. As a player, that's what you want and that's the most important thing for me."
Iling-Junior has ultimately been tasked with helping fill the void left by the departed Tom Fellows, who he plays with at international level for England under-21s.
Fellows left Albion for Championship rivals Southampton late in the summer transfer window, and Iling-Junior opened up about his time with the ex-Baggies winger on international duty.
"We had a few conversations, so that was nice," he revealed.

"No, I didn't expect him to leave if I'm honest. I just think, because there was interest from West Brom early on, that just opened up a spot.
"There was always talks going on with what could happen.
"[We have competed for a place] from time to time, but I'd say it's always different in an international set-up.
"You get players from the Premier League, the Championship, abroad, so it's always a mix.
"Then the managers will have things that they want to look at, so you can't really control that."
