Radnor Valley clinch dramatic FAW Amateur Trophy win
Price’s late penalty seals the deal for the hosts
Radnor Valley netted a stoppage-time penalty to defeat reigning Pembrokeshire League champions Hakin United 3-2 in a dramatic FAW Amateur Trophy first round clash at The Bypass.

The visitors made a bright start with Jordan Kilby firing wide of the target before the Goats responded with Cian Bufton lifting an effort over the crossbar from the edge of the penalty area.
Cameron Brunton's 25-yard free-kick was saved by Will Fowden before Mason Dolling's low cross caused some panic in the Radnor penalty area before being scrambled to safety.
Dolling then saw a shot saved in the 29th minute before Joey Price's effort was blocked at the opposite end of the pitch.

Bufton's scuffed shot was comfortably saved by Dylan McGuire in the 33rd minute prior to Brunton's free-kick out being saved by Fowden.

Hakin continued to push for a goal and created a number of goalscoring opportunities.
Brunton broke into the hosts' penalty area, but saw his shot blocked prior to Fowden dropping a hanging free-kick before recovering in time to save a close-range header from Scott Ferney.
The opening half ended with Brunton seeing an effort deflected wide of the target.
The Vikings commenced the second-half on the front foot as they looked to maintain the initiative they held prior to the half-time whistle sounding.

The Goats broke the deadlock in the 71st minute when Price was picked out in the penalty area and twisted and turned to fire a fierce shot into the far corner of the net.

The Vikings equalised when Ferney was on hand to turn home Brunton's low cross along the face of Fowden's goal.

Joey Price's effort from the right-hand side of the penalty area was saved after an 80th-minute free-kick was only partially cleared.
Tim Office's 25-yard drive was blocked six minutes later before former Kington Town forward Gittoes rose highest at the far post to powerfully head home from the ensuing corner.
Joey Price's shot was blocked after being found by Gittoes and then Reggie Armstrong's volley was deflected over the crossbar by Ferney less that 60 seconds later.
Just when it seemed that the New Radnor club were poised to win, Liam Parks levelled for the Milford Haven with a spectacular overhead kick following a corner.
The match appeared to be heading towards a penalty shoot-out until referee Paul Curtis awarded a 98th-minute penalty and Price stepped forward to convert the spot-kick for his second goal of the afternoon in a remarkable finale to the cup tie.
