Telford warehouse sold for £32.5m to undisclosed buyer
Corum XL has offloaded the unit which is let to a manufacturing firm
A warehouse and manufacturing base in Shropshire has been sold for £32.5 million.
The freehold properties occupy 19.4 acres at Hortonwood 37 next to Telford International Railfreight Park.
The unit covers 386,662 sq ft and has been sold by real estate investment trust Corum XL to an undisclosed buyer.
The premises are let to Epwin Group which manufactures windows, doors and fascia systems and which has more than 13 years left to run on its lease.
Birmingham-based MK2 Real Estate advised Corum XL on the sale.
Mark Johnson, co-founder of MK2 and director in the firm's investment team, said: "Corum acquired this asset in 2019 in a sale and leaseback from Epwin, with MK2 advising Corum.
"It was great to re-engage with the Corum team and bring the asset to the market, attracting good interest and achieving the asking price."
Cushman & Wakefield advised the purchaser.
