The Bluebirds, fresh off the back of three straight wins that has seen them climb to tenth, welcomed Holyhead to the Recreation Ground, themselves having been beaten twice in their previous two outings.

It was the Anglesey visitors who were ahead seven minutes before the half time break - as Craig Whelan set up Connor Owen for the opener.

It stayed that way until the 82nd minute, when George Mitton set up Dillon Browne for the equaliser.

It looked like the points were going to be shared but Holyhead had other ideas as two minutes into added on time at the end of the second period - Nathan Williams was the provider and Owen bagged his and Holyhead's second of the game.

It was a gut punch for the improved Bluebirds but they would be the ones to have the last laugh as two minutes later the former Builth Wells duo of Lyndon Jones and Tommy Rowlands combined, with the latter netting a dramatic late equaliser.
