Stokes returns after appearing 26 times for Tigers last season, part of the team that won the NIHL North play-offs. He started last season on a two-way contract with Coventry Blaze but will ice exclusively for Tigers next season.

General manager and head coach Tom Watkins said: “Jordan is a talented kid with lots of potential.

“He is still young and developing but has lots of ability and has a competitive nature which, in hockey, is key. Jordan’s biggest strength is his skating ability, he is quick, mobile and strong. I think he can play with more physicality at times but not at the cost of sacrificing good defensive habits.”

Stokes added: “I’m looking forward to being back and picking up from last year.”
