Two wins in four days delight AFC Telford United manager
After six winless matches, the Bucks are up and running after back-to-back 1-0 victories.
A second victory in four days for AFC Telford United toppled early pacesetters Oxford City and lifted the Bucks further up the National League North table, delighting manager Kevin Wilkin.

Remi Walker scored the Bucks’ winner early in the second half as they rose to 18th in the early-season standings, and could have had more than the 1-0 final scoreline.
And Wilkin was thrilled to see his side follow Saturday’s 1-0 first triumph of the campaign at Scarborough Athletic with another three points.
He said: “(I’m) really pleased with the victory to back up Saturday's result, and it’s nothing less than those players deserve.
“There's not a game that’s gone by this season when they've not given me effort and endeavour.
“We've lacked quality at certain times, but they've dug in on Saturday and gone to a really difficult place in Scarborough to pick up a result.
“They’ve done exactly the same tonight, albeit I felt we could have won a little bit more comfortably.”
The Bucks’ 1-0 win came thanks to midfielder Walker’s first goal of the season in the 49th minute, but the visitors could thank goalkeeper Jonny Maxted for keeping them in the game.
The home side had the game’s best chances, as Wilkin acknowledged: “We've had some fantastic moments there. The goalkeeper's pulled off some really, really good saves.
“A cushion would have been a bit nicer, but look, however you get there, as long as you get there, that's the most important thing, and three points is obviously all that matters.”
The Bucks won their first match of the season on Saturday, and this result made it back-to-back wins and consecutive clean sheets for a side Wilkin had felt were conceding too many “cheap goals”.
A change in formation and personnel has brought new solidity to the Bucks.
Wilkin’s side look more efficient if a little less expansive, but the manager feels the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
They still found the better chances against an Oxford side missing top scorer Tyrone Mars.
“Yeah, you'd expect that at home,” added the boss. “We've forced more moments. Matty (Stenson) has gone through one-on-one, the goalie's made a fantastic save there.
“He's tipped one over, I think, probably from Louis (Moult) in the first half as well, and then a fantastic save to deny Stenno in the second half as well.”
