Kevin Wilkin calls for higher standards after AFC Telford United defeat
The manager has had his say.
AFC Telford United boss Kevin Wilkin has called for higher standards after his side started the season with a second consecutive defeat.

After losing 2-1 at home to Brackley Town on the opening day of the National League North season, Telford were beaten by the same scoreline on the weekend at Worksop Town.
They initially fell behind before Charlie Williams equalised, but the hosts found a winner to condemn Telford to another defeat and Wilkin had few complaints after losing the match.
Wilkin said: “I’m obviously disappointed to lose the game.
“I don't think we've done well enough over the 90 minutes. The levels and standards we know that we need to get to haven't been maintained for long enough.
“There were some good moments there, but equally there are some poor moments there, and it's my responsibility to try and do something about that.
“Players have gone in there, where they need to go and dominate the opposition, and I don't think we have today. I think you can make a small argument that we could have got a draw out of the game, but I think they probably had the better moments and chances than us.”
