The 20-year-old’s catch gave England their fourth wicket as Jofra Archer and Ollie Robinson ripped through the Pakistan top order on their way to being all out for 133.

Wylie - who scored his first Shropshire century at National Counties level earlier this year - was ready to claim the ball at mid-on after Shan Masood looped the ball up to him, reducing Pakistan to 26-4 at the time.

England’s on-song seamers showed no mercy to Pakistan as the tourists were bowled out for a pitiful 133, before the batters replied by opening up a 23-run lead, reaching 156-4 by the close.
