Shropshire MP launches Christmas card competition: Designs will be sent to Andy Burnham
“My Christmas E-Card Competition is one of my favourite traditions of the year”
The MP for South Shropshire has officially launched his annual Christmas card competition for this year.
Conservative Party MP Stuart Anderson has fired the starting gun for his festive E-card competition, which is open to entries from school-aged kids from across the constituency.
The competition is an opportunity for any schoolchild - including those being home-educated - to create the E-card design that Mr Anderson will send out this Christmas to the likes of Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Tory leader Kemi Badenoch.

Mr Anderson said: “My Christmas E-Card Competition is one of my favourite traditions of the year.
“Every year I am amazed by the creativity and imagination of children in South Shropshire.”
Entries into the competition will be accepted between November 9 and December 4.
Kids can enter by creating a festive design on a plain piece of paper before either emailing a copy of it to [email protected], or sending the physical version via post to the following address: Stuart Anderson MP, 75a High Street, Bridgnorth, WV16 4DX.
All hopeful entries must make sure their name, age and school are on the back of the piece of paper that has the design on before sending them to Mr Anderson to review.
Mr Anderson went on to say: “I can't wait to see this year's designs.
“The winning entry will take pride of place on my official parliamentary E-Christmas Card which goes to hundreds of people, including the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.
“It is a wonderful opportunity for our young people to showcase their talent and spread some festive cheer across South Shropshire and beyond.”
