One injured in four-car crash on A5 at Shrewsbury
One person was injured in a crash involving four cars on the A5 in Shropshire.
The accident happened on the trunk road between the end of the M54 and the Preston roundabout on the eastbound lanes causing long delays for rush hour traffic.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 6pm on Monday.
A male driver was treated by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, which sent three fire crews, including a specialist rescue tender, to the crash, said no one was trapped.
