The bad weather is expected later tonight and in the early hours of Sunday morning, affecting Shropshire, Staffordshire, the Black Country and Powys.
The Met Office issued the warning today, for between 9pm tonight and 1am tomorrow.
It comes as snow fell overnight at Telford beauty spot, The Wrekin, with more expected tonight.

Snow and ice may cause some travel disruption overnight and early Sunday. The Met Office said some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
They also warned to take care on the ice as some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces could occur, especially as there will be some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
As the cold weather is expected to increase overnight, the Met Office have warned people to take care on Sunday as snow is likely.
The West Midlands Travel Network has also warned people to be cautious as the weather could affect travel.
