Nathan Newman, aged 33, of Leonards Close, Donnington, pleaded guilty to three driving offences in Telford on September 1, 2023 - including failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

Appearing at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Newman admitted driving a silver Hyundai I10 on the A442 Queensway and Station Road without a licence and another count of having no insurance.

Joanne Fox, senior prosecutor, said the refusal to provide a specimen was deliberate.

She added that Newman had 41 convictions for 70 offences against his name but the last relevant one was some 10 years ago.
