Stolen car crashes into Telford roundabout traffic lights
A stolen car crashed into traffic lights today after failing to stop for police in Telford.
Officers were this afternoon searching for the male driver, who fled after crashing the silver car on Ketley Brook Roundabout, on the road towards Wellington.
Police spotted the car, which is believed to have been stolen from the West Bromwich area, at around 11.45am.
It is believed the car was stolen from the West Bromwich area.
Police closed off a single lane exiting the roundabout while investigations were ongoing. There were some queues while the lane was shut.
Officers called on anybody who might have seen anything to get in touch. They are especially interested in hearing from anyone who might have mobile or dashcam footage.
