Telford shooting: Gunshot sounds echo in courtroom as jury learns of defendants 'pack of lies' told to police
'Bang… Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang' - Those were the sounds a jury heard when they were shown CCTV footage from the scene of a “merciless revenge” killing in a Telford car park
Tamba Momodu was gunned down outside The Fitness Factory gym at Bridges Business Park in Horsehay, Telford on October 13, 2020, just yards away from the Panda-Monium soft play centre for babies, toddlers and kids.
The 20-year-old went to the gym with two friends, who fled the scene unscathed.
Grainy footage from a distance shown to a murder trial jury at Stafford Crown Court showed a grey Skoda Karoq arriving at the car park, before a blue Renault Megane, which Mr Momodu was a front seat passenger in.
A figure in high-vis could then be seen getting out of the Skoda and move off-camera before six loud gunshot noises were heard.
One shot was heard, then a pause, then five more shots followed in quick succession.
