Two bikes, a chainsaw and a pressure washer have been stolen from a garden shed during an overnight break-in.

The shed, at the end of a drive at a home in Bedlam, Clee Hill, near Ludlow, was broken into some time between midnight on Monday and 6am yesterday.

Chloe Drinkwater, spokeswoman for West Mercia Police, said: "The lock had been broken, the door had been ripped off and two bikes stolen – a blue Halfords Mongoose and an Orange Voodoo."

A Stihl chainsaw and a MacAllister pressure washer were also taken.

A community appeal has also been launched on Facebook in a bid to trace the stolen items. The break-in follows a spate of such thefts from homes and outhouses in the area in January.

Anyone with information should contact West Mercia Police on 101.
