More schools have been closed due to the cold weather which has hit Shropshire.

More schools have been closed due to the cold weather hitting Shropshire:

Adcote School in Little Ness is closed.

Admaston Pathways Pupil Referral Unit is closed all day.

Bridge Special School in Hadley is closed.

Brown Clee Primary School is closed.

Brynhafren Primary School in Crew Green is closed.

Chirbury Primary School is closed due to a power failure.

Clunbury Primary and nursery is closed.

Haughton Special School in Madeley is closed.

Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant Primary School, over the border in Powys is closed.

Newcastle Children's Centre in Newcastle on Clun is closed.

St Lawrence Primary School in Gnosall, over the border in Staffordshire, is closed.

Severndale Special School in Shrewsbury is closed.

Southall Special School is closed to pupils, but open to staff if they can get in safely.

Stiperstones Primary School is closed.

Other information

Church Stretton School is open, but buses operated by Minsterley Motors, Horrocks, Craven Arms and Worthen will not run. If you can make it in by other means please do so. School will open normally for all other pupils.

Buses to Bishop's Castle Community College will service main roads only.

William Brookes School in Much Wenlock is open as normal, but there are no buses from Acton Burnell.

The Grove School in Market Drayton has a problem with just one of its bus routes. The 1031 is not running in the rural part - that's from Nobridge to Bletchley. The Tern Hill to the Grove School part of the journey will run as normal.

Idsall School bus route SH1017, from Sutton Maddock to Idsall, via Beckbury, is not running today.
