Fiat’s Topolino range gains Dolcevita soft-top

Convertible was previously only available in special edition form.
Fiat has opened its convertible Topolino up to a wider audience with a new Dolcevita model.
Previously, the opening soft-top roof was only available on special-edition cars, but it has now been integrated into the broader Topolino line-up.
Priced from £9,495, the Topolino Dolcevita is an electric, compact quadricycle designed for urban driving and short-distance adventures. It has been designed as an alternative to a car, and is much easier to park than a full-sized vehicle.

It’s got a range of up to 46 miles from a single charge and gets an integrated charging cable for easier top-ups. It can be pulled out and then attached to the plug without the need for a removable cable. A full charge can be conducted in just under four hours, too.
The top speed of the Topolino is 27.9mph, which allows it to fall under that wider light quadricycle classification. This does also mean that the Topolino cannot be legally driven on the UK’s motorways.

There are several ways to customise the Topolino, too, through three distinct trim levels. Corallo adds a red exterior paint colour with contrast chrome effect detailing and retro door mirror caps, while Verde Vita brings that traditional green shade and a glass panoramic roof. There’s also a dash-top ‘Dolce Vita’ storage box and storage nets in the doors.
Dolcevita is the new range-topping thanks to that folding fabric roof, which rolls back manually rather than via an electric track. Once out of the way, it can be secured in place to stop it rolling back out again.
The new Fiat Topolino Dolcevita is available to order now.
