Jack Savoretti and James Morrison announce Llangollen show

Two of the UK's best-known singer-songwriters will join forces for a special double-headline show at Llangollen Pavilion next summer.

Jack Savoretti and James Morrison will tour together in June and July 2027, with a date at the North Wales venue on Friday, June 25.

The concert is the first headline show announced for the 2027 Live at Llangollen Pavilion programme.

The pair will take it in turns to close the shows, with James Morrison performing last in Llangollen.

Morrison, best known for hits including You Give Me Something, has enjoyed a career spanning two decades. He has had two UK number one albums, five top 10 singles and multiple platinum-certified releases, as well as winning a BRIT Award.

His seventh album, Fight Another Day, reached the UK top five last year.

Savoretti, meanwhile, is celebrating 20 years since the release of his debut album Between the Minds. His ninth studio album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were, was released this year and sees him return to the storytelling and soul of his earlier work.

The singer has had two UK number one albums and five top 10 albums and recently performed a sold-out 20th anniversary show at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Llangollen concert follows the 2026 Live at Llangollen Pavilion programme, which featured eight headline shows before the town hosted the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.

Tickets for the 2027 show go on sale at 10am on Friday from Llangollen Pavilion and Ticketmaster.

The concert is presented as part of the partnership between the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and promoters Cuffe and Taylor.

Dave Danford, artistic director of the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, said bringing the two artists together promised to make it "a very special night in the Pavilion".

He added: "It's going to be a fantastic evening, a brilliant start to another exciting summer of live music in Llangollen, and there is plenty more still to come."
