Caersws are not five games unbeaten as they continue to climb up the Cymru North table.

They have continued their form from the end of last year into the new year - and that has seen them move up to ninth in the table.

They are just two points behind out of sorts Buckley, and five points off the top six in the table, with a number of games left to play before the end of the season.

Their latest victory came recently in a midweek clash with Penrhyncoch as they ran out 3-1 winners in their Mid Wales derby clash.

They went behind after five minutes when veteran Geoff Kellaway scored to put the Roosters in front but Ashley Jones levelled the scores just eight minutes later.

They were then in front 22 minutes from the end of normal time when former Builth Wells duo Lyndon Jones and Tommy Rowlands combining, with the latter putting Sws in front.

And the scores were complete in stoppage time when Rowlands turned provider for Max McLaughlin to net a third.
