The Tigers romped to a 9-3 victory at high-flying Romford Raiders on Saturday, but came unstuck against Leeds Knights in front of their own fans 24 hours later.

It is the third time this season they have lost in overtime, while also losing a shootout to Bristol Pitbulls last weekend.

The goals were shared around at Romford as Tate Shudra (two), Eric Henderson, Scott McKenzie, Finley Howells, Ronny Paragallo, Jeremy Michaud, Rhodes Mitchell-King and Max Dukovac all hit the target. Tigers were 7-1 up, before the Raiders showed a little late resistance.

Telford had to show great fight at home to Leeds on Sunday, as they came from 4-0 down to force overtime.

Dukovac (two), Paragallo and Harry Ferguson all struck in a six-minute blitz as Tigers thrilled the crowd at Telford Ice Rink.

However, Leeds had the final say as Matthew Bissonnette struck one minute and 51 seconds into overtime to seal the victory.

Telford host Bristol Pitbulls on Wednesday and then Solway on Saturday, before hitting the road to visit Peterborough Phantoms on Sunday.
