Released Shrewsbury Town winger joins PFA free-agent training camp
Scully joins several other out-of-contract former Town players at the camp in Leicestershire.
Anthony Scully is among the latest former Shrewsbury Town players to join the Professional Footballers’ Association’s (PFA) free-agent pre-season training camp.
The 27-year-old joins former team-mate John Marquis at week three of the camp after both were released by Salop this summer.

Ex-Town defender James Bolton - who started both the EFL Trophy final and League One play-off final defeats at Wembley in 2018 - has also linked up with the camp following his departure from Fleetwood Town.
Former Shrewsbury players Kyle Vassell and Sam Hart are also taking part at Champneys Springs in Leicestershire as they search for new clubs ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The initiative is open to out-of-contract PFA members who were under professional contracts during the previous season and combines training, friendly matches and wellbeing support.
Scully left Town at the end of his one-year deal after making 35 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
The forward reunited with then Salop boss Michael Appleton last summer, having previously played under him at Lincoln City between 2019 and 2022.
His season was disrupted by a series of injuries, including a hamstring problem. Earlier in his career, while at Portsmouth, Scully underwent both knee and ankle surgery, with the latter requiring the insertion and later removal of a metal plate.
Meanwhile, former Town captain Marquis is also at the camp after leaving Shrewsbury at the end of last season.
