Shrewsbury Town’s first pre-season fixture brought forward
New kick-off time is confirmed for Shrewsbury Town’s trip to Stafford Rangers.
Shrewsbury Town’s first pre-season friendly at non-league Stafford Rangers has been brought forward.
Tuesday night’s fixture at Marston Road will now kick off at 7.15pm, 30 minutes earlier than the originally scheduled 7.45pm start.
The match marks Salop’s first outing of pre-season as they step up preparations for the new campaign.
It will also give boss Gavin Cowan the opportunity to assess his new signings alongside the players retained from last season.
Following the trip to Staffordshire, Salop will travel to the Isle of Man to compete in the island’s Summer Football Festival, beginning with a fixture against Radcliffe.
Gates at Marston Road will open at 6pm, with all supporters asked to enter through the main gates to the left of the club office.
