Prospective Shrewsbury Town director Brad Friedel spotted at EFL Trophy tie
Brad Friedel was spotted at the Croud Meadow.
Former Premier League goalkeeper Brad Friedel, part of the consortium in negotiations to take over at Shrewsbury Town, watched the club's EFL Trophy tie against Everton under-21s on Tuesday night.

American Friedel, 55, formerly of Liverpool, Blackburn and Villa among others, was spotted in the directors' box at Croud Meadow, the Shropshire Star can reveal.
The US consortium headed by Miami-based Scott Davidson is at an advanced stage in takeover talks from long-term Shrewsbury Town chairman and owner Roland Wycherley.
Friedel, a close friend of Davidson, is the group's high-profile figure and prospective club director that would join a board with fellow directors Craig Graham and Will Dotson. The directors have been granted approval by the new independent football regulator.
Graham was at last week’s dramatic last-gasp victory at Crawley and spoke with travelling Town fans.
The 82-cap US international, a veteran of more than 650 club career appearances, recently said the consortium in advanced stages to take over the club from Wycherley are "very excited" to get going.
The takeover would bring to an end Wycherley's 30-year ownership of the club.
