Debut first class day for cricketer David Lloyd
David Lloyd has become the latest Shropshire cricketer to enter the first-class ranks.
The 20-year-old former Shrewsbury School pupil made his debut for Glamorgan yesterday in their County Championship Division Two clash with Yorkshire at Headingley.
It was a disappointing start for Lloyd, who has spent this season as Wellington's contracted player in the Birmingham League Premier Division, as he failed to trouble the scorers in his side's 272 all out.
Shrewsbury all-rounder Joe Leach was out for a duck as part of the Worcestershire team who were skittled for just 60 by title-chasing Warwickshire.
