Telford gym reopens after 'major' upgrade
New members are being offered a free month to celebrate
A Telford gym has reopened after a refurbishment.
The newly upgraded gym at Horsehay Village Golf and Fitness Centre in Telford has reopened following “major investment”.
The gym was closed from August 28 until September 7 for the installation of new “state-of-the-art” equipment.

Telford & Wrekin Council said the refurbished facility now features Freemotion cardio and strength equipment, including IFIT-enabled machines that provide interactive and personalised workout experiences, new fixed resistance equipment and a bespoke BLK BOX rig.
Councillor Angela McClements, the council’s cabinet member for culture, tourism and leisure, said: "We're delighted to welcome our members back to the refurbished Aspirations gym at Horsehay.
"This upgrade is part of our continued investment in leisure services across the borough, ensuring residents have access to modern, high-quality facilities that support their health and wellbeing.
"We know how important accessible fitness opportunities are to our communities, and we're pleased to see these improvements at Horsehay enhancing the experience for both existing members and new users.”
To celebrate the reopening, new customers are being encouraged to join Aspirations and take advantage of a free first month.
