New drone video shows latest progress at Telford's multi-million pound 'Station Quarter'
Work is expected to finish on the first phase this summer
New drone footage has revealed how work is progressing at the multi-million-pound Station Quarter development in Telford town centre.
The £220 million Station Quarter project is currently transforming the 5.91‑hectare site between Telford Centre and Telford Central railway station, previously occupied by ageing 1980s office blocks.
Final plans include serviced office space, commercial units, flexible retail and leisure outlets, and a six‑storey hotel.

Phase one of the development has already seen the construction of a "state-of-the art digital skills and enterprise hub" - The Quad - which opened in September 2024.
More recently, construction finished on Denmark House, a six-storey apartment of 84 fully furnished apartments - the first residential building ever constructed in the new town’s centre. A further 105 homes are also nearing completion.

Telford & Wrekin Council says bringing housing into the town centre is “key to sustaining vibrant town centres in the face of changing retail habits.”
A 142-room Hampton by Hilton hotel is currently being built on the site of a former HMRC office block, which is set to open in the first half of next year.
Work on a new sixth-form centre, which will host A-level courses for Telford College, is also nearing completion.

The new campus will be located in the former council offices at Addenbrook House and is on track to open in time for the start of the new term in September.
The first phase of Station Quarter - including the residential buildings and public realm improvements - is scheduled to complete this summer.
