Progress at Telford's new Hilton hotel as opening month is confirmed
The hotel will soon be open to guests
Fresh drone photographs have revealed progress at Telford’s new hotel as the company reveals when it will open to the public.
A new Hampton by Hilton hotel is currently under construction at the Station Quarter in Telford town centre.
The £220 million project is currently transforming the 5.91‑hectare site between Telford Centre and Telford Central railway station, previously occupied by ageing 1980s office blocks.

The development has already seen the construction and opening of a digital skills and enterprise hub - The Quad - along with Denmark House, a six-storey apartment of 84 fully furnished apartments, and Telford College’s new sixth form centre.
Joining them shortly will be a new 142-room Hampton hotel, which is being built on the site of a former HMRC office block.

Telford & Wrekin say the six-storey building off Lawn Central forms part of a wider push to strengthen the town’s visitor economy, currently worth around £440 million a year.
The local authority said its arrival comes amid a period of strong momentum for the borough, including the £9 million transfer of Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust sites to the National Trust, the creation of a new cultural quarter centred on Telford Theatre in Oakengates, and continued growth at the Telford International Centre.
Hilton have recently revealed the new location - which is expected to create 38 full‑time jobs - is due to open in February next year.
