Network Rail have issued a warning to anyone with trampolines, sheds and garden chairs during Storm Boelo.
Sharing pictures on social media of the garden items on the tracks, the transport provider asked residents near train tracks to ensure their items are secured.

A spokesperson said: “We're working hard to keep rail services moving during Storm Boelo this weekend.
“If you live near the railway, firmly secure objects like trampolines, sheds and garden furniture.

“These can block lines and disrupt trains.”
The news comes as Storm Boelo is bringing strong winds and heavy rain to parts of the West Midlands, with yellow weather warnings in place for Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Gusts of up to 65mph are possible in affected areas, while heavy rain could cause surface water flooding, with up to 60mm possible in some upland areas.
Travel disruption, fallen trees, damage to buildings and power cuts are possible.
Residents are advised to check travel conditions and keep up to date with the latest forecasts.
