More than 100 questionnaires on the parish plan for Quatt, Wootton, Mose, Dudmaston and Hampton Loade were distributed after a consultation last summer.

Less than 40 responses were received, so the deadline has been extended. Quatt Malvern parish council is hoping for more engagement to get a better idea of what people really want.

Councillor Robert Law said: "The deadline for responses was at the end of November but we have had a really disappointing return rate with less than 40 returned questionnaires submitted, when this is a chance for every parishioner to have their say on the future of Quatt Malvern parish.

"We are being helped by Shropshire Rural Communities Charity who will carry out independent analysis of the results, which will then be formulated into an action plan.

"As this will not be started until January 7, we are sending out a plea to any local residents of Quatt Parish still to hand in their questionnaires, to please complete them and return either to Quatt Farm shop or post in the prepaid envelope provided."
