Concerns for welfare of woman near River Severn in Bridgnorth
Emergency services descended on Bridgnorth after concerns for the welfare of a woman near to the river.
West Mercia Police said they were called to Bridge Street in the town at about 6.50pm after receiving reports of a woman in the river.
Officers attended along with other emergency services.
The force said the incident was safely resolved and the woman was taken to hospital.
