Hyundai’s Ioniq 9 gains new Calligraphy Black Ink range-topper

Extensive specification brings a high level of standard equipment.
Hyundai is broadening the range of specifications available on its Ioniq 9 with a new Calligraphy Black Ink trim.
Building on the existing Calligraphy, the new Calligraphy Black Ink brings – as the name suggests – a range of black-coloured elements for a stealthier appearance both inside and out.

It brings a full black design package including a matte black front Hyundai badge, 21-inch black alloy wheels and a new black trim for the rear bumper. Inside, there are Nappa leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and black-finished aluminium dashboard trim. While black exterior paint is available, buyers can also choose a ‘Serenity White Pearl’ shade to contrast the darker elements, too.
The Calligraphy Black Ink comes in at £79,320, and like the regular Calligraphy, comes with a full panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker Bose sound system and a head-up display. As standard, an efficiency-boosting heat pump is fitted, as well as heated and ventilated front and rear seats.

The Ioniq 9 is equipped with a large 110kWh battery which unlocks a range of up to 385 miles, while a maximum charge speed of 350kW – one of the quickest of any EV on sale – means a 10 to 80 per cent charge can be completed in under half an hour. Vehicle-to-load technology means that the car’s charge can be used to power external devices such as electric grilles, air pumps or even lights.
The Ioniq 9 Calligraphy Black Ink is on sale now.
