Fun quiz raises funds for Builth Wells cancer campaign promoting activity
A Builth Wells group's successful quiz nights has helped a cancer campaign which promotes activitity
Builth Wells Rotary Club hosted their monthly quiz to a packed venue at The Greyhound Hotel.
This was a very successful evening helping to raise funds for 5K Your Way MOVE Against Cancer.
MOVE Against Cancer, is founded on the belief that staying active during and beyond cancer can make a real difference — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Those wishing to be involved can meet on the Groe on Saturday mornings.
The money raised in the quiz will be used to equip participants with clothing and other items to promote the group activity.
A cheque for £400 was presented to Sue Ling who is one of the local ambassadors for 5K Your Way.
Presenting the cheque was Rotary President, Hugh Garner, with Rotarians, Richard Davies and David England.
