Shropshire mobility firm plans showroom expansion

The company is marking six years of trading from its site in Oswestry with plans for growth

A Shropshire mobility specialist is planning to expand its showroom.

Shropshire Mobility Solutions will grow its base at Welsh Frankton near Oswestry as the company celebrates six years of trading from the site.

The company sells products such as mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs and rise and recline chairs with the aim of helping people remain independent for longer.

It is due to unveil the enlarged facility later this year which it said was needed to meet growing demand and create more space to showcase its range of mobility products.

As part of the celebrations, the company is also the official mobility partner for this year's Oswestry Show which takes place on August 1.

It will be providing pre-booked mobility scooter and wheelchair hire to help visitors get around the agricultural show alongside hosting a trade stand to meet customers.

Scott Marston, who co-owns the business with his wife Andrea, said: "We're incredibly proud to be celebrating six years in our showroom.

"During that time we've supported thousands of customers across Shropshire, Mid Wales and beyond, helping people remain active, independent and able to enjoy everyday life.

"Our clients now include the Isle of Wight and Cornwall as when they move we continue servicing them as mobility is important every day of the week, regardless of where you are. Our expansion plans are the next step in that journey.

"We want to create even more space where customers can comfortably try products, receive expert advice and find the right solution for their individual needs."

He added: "Being the mobility partner for Oswestry Show is something we're extremely proud of because accessibility is at the heart of everything we do.

"It's wonderful to see visitors arrive knowing they'll be able to enjoy a full day with their family and friends thanks to the mobility equipment we've provided."
