School pupils invited to free musical theatre event at Moreton Hall
Youngsters in Years 5 to 8 are being invited to take part in drama workshops, go behind the scenes and watch a performance of Little Shop of Horrors
Moreton Hall is inviting local school pupils to enjoy a free evening of musical theatre, with workshops and a performance designed to inspire the next generation of young performers.

The event will take place on Monday, November 30, and is open to pupils in Years 5, 6, 7 and 8.
The programme will include a practical drama workshop led by a professional choreographer, followed by supper and a behind-the-scenes tour of Moreton Hall's Holroyd Community Theatre.
The evening will finish with a performance of the musical Little Shop of Horrors, staged by pupils from the school's Senior School.
All activities, including supper and the theatre performance, will be free of charge.
Michael Jenkins, director of drama at Moreton Hall, said the event aimed to give young people the chance to experience performing arts and discover the confidence and creativity it could bring.
He said: "At a time when Drama is facing a decline in uptake, I am thrilled that we are able to offer this unique opportunity for young people.

"It will give them the chance to participate in a professionally led, focused workshop before experiencing live theatre for themselves – a wonderful 'see it, be it' opportunity."
He added: "I hope we can fill the theatre with young people and inspire them to discover, or rediscover, a love of performing arts."
The event will begin at 4pm with the workshop, followed by supper at 5.30pm and the theatre tour at 6pm. The performance of Little Shop of Horrors will start at 7pm.
