Meet Santa and his elves at Shropshire farm's Christmas event

Families can meet Santa and enjoy a host of festive activities when a popular Christmas event returns to Park Hall Countryside Experience.

The attraction's annual Santa Experience will run on selected dates from November 28 to December 24, with tickets now on sale.

Visitors will be able to meet Santa and his elves in his grotto, have a family photograph taken and receive a gift to take home.

The event will also feature a pantomime-style show called Tree Trimming Training!, performed every hour between 11am and 3pm.

The interactive show follows two Christmas trees, Bruce Spruce and Divine Pine, as they teach audiences about decorating, with songs, silliness and plenty of audience participation.

Families can also enjoy festive activities around the farm, meet and stroke the animals and explore the attraction's indoor and outdoor play areas.

These include tractor rides, soft play, a role-play village, music room and science illusion zone.

Richard Powell, joint owner-director at Park Hall, said: "Join us at Park Hall Countryside Experience this Christmas for a magical day packed with festive fun and family cheer.

"Our Santa Experience promises a picture-perfect visit to Santa's grotto, lots of seasonal activities, and fun surprises around every corner."

The farm will be closed from November 2 to 27 while staff prepare the site for the festive season.

The event will run on November 28 and 29, December 5 and 6, December 12 and 13, and daily from December 19 to 24, from 10am to 5pm.

A special Toddler Day with Father Christmas for under-fives will take place on Friday, December 18, with numbers restricted.

Tickets include all-day admission to the farm and must be booked in advance.
