Frankly Farm Tours has opened bookings for visits during the school holidays, with opportunities to see more than 50 animals and take part in hands-on activities.

The farm is home to alpacas, llamas, pygmy goats, Shetland ponies, rare sheep breeds, Dexter cattle and Highland cows.

Visitors can also see geese, ducks and chickens, as well as smaller animals in a new barn.

An optional Activity Pass will give visitors the chance to cuddle guinea pigs, pet quail, meet a bearded dragon and stroke a pony.

Children can also take part in craft activities and use the farm's outdoor play areas.

On Saturday, October 31, two Halloween sessions will feature an interactive story, hands-on crafts and a Halloween hunt around the farm.

John Franklin-Hackett, co-owner of Frankly Farm Tours, said the attraction had introduced more opportunities for visitors to interact with animals in response to demand.

The farm is laid out around a traditional courtyard, with free parking available. Animal feed can be bought on site, and the Farmyard Café serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, cakes and other refreshments.

Further details and bookings are available at on the website.
