TV presenter Maya Jama has donated what she would have won on Celebrity Traitors to her chosen charity, despite missing out on the prize pot.

The 32-year-old was banished from the BBC reality show during Friday’s dramatic final after the faithfuls worked out she was a traitor.

Fellow traitor King Kenny, who also came under suspicion, voted against Jama at the final roundtable, helping to secure her elimination.

Faithfuls Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan went on to emerge victorious, sharing the £83,000 prize pot between their chosen charities.

Jama shared a message on X on Saturday which read: “Just donated what I would have won for my chosen charity @ActnForChildren.

“Amazing cause.”

Jama did not specify how much she had donated.

The Love Island presenter had chosen Action for Children, a charity which works to help and support vulnerable children with issues such as poverty, abuse and finding a foster home.

Jama was the only original traitor left in the game and had been working alongside King Kenny, who also missed out on winning after the faithfuls turned against him.

The tense episode concluded with Croft, 24, and Ranganathan, 48, celebrating their victory as the final two contestants standing.

Heartstopper actor Croft will be donating his £41,500 share to the charity Choose Love, while comedian Ranganathan is giving his winnings to the Refugee Council.
