Rumpelstiltskin to be performed for a Powys arts venue's 50th anniversary

Mid Powys Youth Theatre (MPYT) is staging a production of Rumpelstiltskin at the Wyeside Arts Centre in Builth Wells to celebrate the venue's 50th birthday.

The family fun show which has been made in Powys from teenagers will be at the Wyeside Arts Centre from Wednesday, November 4 until Saturday, November 7.

The popular local theatre group follow last year's triumphant return to the Wyeside with The Curious Incident of the Do with this very different tale.

Written by Ralph Bolland and directed by Ralph Bolland and Melody Watson, there will be exquisite ensemble movement, glorious comedy, slightly bonkers original music, it will be impeccably lit, with a deeply-skewed design.

There will be evening performances on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting at 7.30pm and a matinee on Saturday, November 7 at 2pm.

Tickets are £15 for adults, £12 for Senior Citizens and children 16 and under and £45 for a family ticket. Saturday Matinee Tickets are £10 and all tickets are subject to a £1 administration fee.
